I don't want to ask if it is not OK, but there is a new seller (sewer) that has some neat looking things.

I was wondering if anyone had experience with her - but don't want to break the rules!

    Thanks,
    Faith

It's fine to ask if anyone has purchased from a seller. It's NOT OK to speak badly of a seller. Details of a bad experience with a seller should be sent through PM and not mentioned on the board.

Our Board Rules, which are accessible from the top of the first page of the board, state in part:

"If you have a question on an auction:
You may post a message saying, "I am looking at a certain auction and there is something I have a question about [then describe the issue]. Anyone willing to help me answer the question, please send me a private message." This rule is instituted to prevent any seller's reputation from being questioned publicly in case there is nothing actually wrong with the item, and to prevent items on people's "ebay wishlists" from being linked to the board, as it leads to skyrocketing auction prices.

Do not mention specific sellers or bidders in any way except for praise. Do not use the board to accuse sellers of anything, because mistakes can be made and misunderstandings can take place. A bidder/seller's ebay feedback and rating should speak for iteself."

And it's always acceptible to PM a mod for clarification of a rule!
